Logan International Airport (BOS), located on the Atlantic coast in Boston, Massachusetts, is one of the 20 busiest airports in the country. It serves as the largest transportation center and prime travel gateway to all six New England states.


Logan currently offers nonstop service to more than 100 domestic and international destinations via 40 air carriers. The busiest  domestic routes from Logan include New York's LaGuardia and JFK airports, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C.'s National and Dulles airports. Commuter air services account for almost half of all movement throughout the airport, as Boston is home to 10 Fortune 500 companies specializing in the finance, insurance, and biotechnology sectors, as well as more than 100 colleges and universities including Harvard, Tufts and Boston Universities and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
