Global Selfies with Absolut

To promote their new “Absolut World” Vodka, a limited edition bottle exclusive to travel retail, Pernod Ricard partnered with JCDecaux to launch their first centralized dynamic campaign at both Frankfurt Airport in Germany and Changi Airport in Singapore!


Designed to express and celebrate global unity, this limited edition bottle portrays values such as love, peace, and togetherness. In efforts to unite travelers from all over the world, Absolut created a global movement, inviting those flying from Frankfurt and Singapore to upload a photo of themselves via After including general details about themselves and some places they love to get together with friends, these “Global Selfies” were linked with a location tag and flight data. A direct interface to a content-management system then made it possible to show local insider tips from the travelers at relevant gates within the two airports. Finally, the selfie that appeared on the digital screen was actually a mosaic made up of “Global Selfies.”


This campaign successfully brought together a global community of travelers and instilled the values of openness and unity, as seen in the design of the new “Absolute World” Vodka bottle.
