Tape.TV Brings Rooftop Music Underground

Tape.TV, an online music channel, was the first to benefit from “Soundwall” this September.  “Soundwall” emerged from a partnership between JCDecaux and Wall AG as a new platform to link a static or digital poster with audio content.  To hear audio via mobile phone, those interested can call a free number displayed on the screen.  Tape.TV organized the On The Rooftop Festival (“Auf den Dächern Festival”) in Berlin.  Concerts were streamed live on several digital screens at the Friedrichstrasse underground station.  Such strategically placed advertising significantly multiplied the festival’s viewership, as this station serves 60,000 passengers daily.
