Twelve Oaks offers two levels of premier enclosed shopping and is located 25 miles northwest of downtown Detroit in Oakland County. This is the second wealthiest county in the nation of those with a population more than one million. It is easily reached from all communities in the trade area, as well as the extensive business development along nearby freeways. Served by three interstate highways, the center lies two miles from the interchange of I-696, I-275, and I-96. The expansion of I-275 and widening of Twelve Mile Road recently enhanced its excellent accessibility.
