Advertising agency, Work in Progress, has partnered with JCDecaux to continue education outside of the classroom. Their new campaign, aptly named 7 Word Lessons, features compelling 7-word facts bolded on our Chicago digital network.

The aim of this campaign is to educate students in the K-8 school range, while they cannot be in the classroom during this time. Additionally, 7-WL seeks to give back to teachers while schools are closed, paying them $25 for each submitted lesson which is published.

Digital billboards were specifically chosen as a medium for this campaign, as their large size means more viewership from a wider range of distances. The 7-word limit on this campaign was deliberately chosen so audiences could read the facts from near and far. This mass medium reaches both educators and students, allowing them to connect during a time when in-person teaching is not possible.
