This social networking platform is taking to OOH to boost brand awareness.

Social network, Yubo, is advertising in Miami’s Dolphin Mall and on our New York Digital Network. This app is intended for the teenage age group, as it offers social live-streaming, games, and a chat feature. Out-of-home is the ideal platform for this rebranding campaign, which is painting the app as a safe space for young adults to connect with like-minded individuals.
The brand is capitalizing on the resurgence of high foot traffic at shopping malls, hence the significant presence of their target demographic of teenagers in these centers. After decreasing during the COVID-19 pandemic, mall foot-traffic has returned in full-force with finding that in March it was up by 86% from the same month last year. Neustar also reported higher levels of Dolphin Mall shoppers in March compared to the same month pre-COVID (2019). Vaccinated persons are returning to malls, which was a common place for gathering pre-pandemic, especially for teens.
