HBO Max geared up for its May 27th launch date with a campaign on our digital and static New York City street furniture. This streaming service promoted its new platform through the display of many popular shows, including fan-favorites such as Friends, South Park, and Wonder Woman. Entertainment exclusive to the new platform was also showcased, building audience anticipation for its launch.
As HBO Max is the latest of many new streaming services, it was essential that to market to as many people as possible prior to its release. Their campaign scope reached across the entirety of New York City, running ads on our bus shelter and newsstand inventory located in all five boroughs. Following the lead of other numerous streaming platforms and cable TV stations, HBO took to the out-of-home medium, recognizing it as a powerful channel to reach the masses.
