JCDecaux’s advertising networks in Miami International Airport are driving traffic to the Miami Formula 1 event this weekend!

The first edition of the Miami Grand Prix will be held this weekend at the Miami International Autodrome!

The exciting sport has been growing in popularity across the United States-last season, the Grand Prix in Austin drew 400,000 fans to the event! The Miami event this year, taking place across three days from 5/6-5/8, is expected to draw upwards of 300,000 tourists into the market for this year’s event.

JCDecaux Airport’s advertising networks in Miami International Airport are the perfect way for brands interested in the F1 audience to act as event ambassadors and capture the attention of attendees as they fly in and out of Miami.

Event sponsors, Crypto.com and Heineken are splashed across high-impact static and digital placements in the international airport. These ad campaigns help the sponsors to extend their relationship with the event across the attendee’s entire weekend journey. From touch-down to take-off, Grand Prix fans will engage with these key brands.

Other brands are also using Formula 1 and MIA advertising placements to their benefit- McLaren’s partnership with Darktrace is a great example. McLaren, a leading race car brand, has partnered with DarkTrace, an AI Cyber Security company, to protect the technologies that their cars and drivers rely on. This unique partnership is perfectly suited for the Miami market; in addition to hosting this highly anticipated sporting event, Miami is emerging as a top tech market in the U.S. and recently welcomed thousands of tech enthusiasts, financial investors, and business executives for several cryptocurrency events.

The FTX and F1 team Mercedes AMG Petronas partnership is also running in MIA! This brand pairing, which helps build the growing bond between crypto and sports, is advertising in the international airport to promote their upcoming NFT drop during the Grand Prix. Their placements are guaranteed to capture the attention of attendees with high impact placements on the MIA Domestic Arrivals Domination, Skylink Domination, and soffit banners.

IWC is also advertising a Formula 1 themed product drop at Miami International Airport during the event! Their large-format static placements prominently feature the newly released Petronas green Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41, made in partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team specifically for the event.

This Miami Formula 1 race is one of many well-attended events across JCDecaux’s markets- our premiere advertising OOH networks across the U.S. are the ideal way to reach a wide variety of event attendees!
