Survivor South Africa is returning to screens for its sixth season. M-Net broadcasted the news with an innovative campaign featuring eight lucky 947 KFMza listeners, all competing to win a spot on the reality show.

For three days, the eight contestants stood on a special build billboard battling out both physical and mental challenges. At the end of each day, two contestants were eliminated until there was one survivor remaining

This incredible campaign created an instantaneous buzz both on TV and social media as the competing challenges were streamed live on Facebook. Over the course of 48 hours, #SurvivorSA gained 2,000 new Facebook fans, reached 98,000 pedestrians passing by in traffic, and 2.87 million viewers from around the world.
