This week, primary care practice One Medical is utilizing the reach and impact of JCDecaux’s street furniture to inform New York City citizens of a crucial health update. The creative announces that COVID-19 testing is now available in all five boroughs of the city, primarily intended for all essential workers and vulnerable populations.
Many people continue to move about the streets, as according to 2018 Census data, essential workers comprise about 38% of all New York transit commuters on a typical day. The visibility and distribution of street furniture throughout NYC makes it the optimal medium to display this health messaging to those who continue to commute. Out of home is reaching those who must leave their homes for essential work and are most at risk of contracting COVID-19.

Beginning as a digital campaign predominantly in Manhattan, One Medical is expanding to include static inventory which is dispersed throughout all five boroughs. JCDecaux’s presence in each of these boroughs is key in informing essential workers about access to the medical care that they need.
